Depends on Usage

Getting Po tC all depends on the gamers ambition...I feel that the single player mode is very lacking with few pirating actions as well as very few puzzles (which are extremely easy). The fight system for single player is very simple and requires no skill you just have three choices; speed attack, strong attack, or block. This makes for a very boring single player mode which I classify as a "just kill people" single player mode. It has a bad system that you can beat all the missions but not be 100% done because you do not have all 25 treasure maps (you do not need them all to beat the game). How ever once you beat the game you unlock the Black Pear as a ship for multi-player usage.
The sea-combat system I feel is fantastic with the power to buy upgrades and just be out there to plunder ships and I feel that the multi-player mode is extremely fun....especially once you get the on-line experience going on the PSP. Even if for some reason you cannot use the on-line play you can always play against AIs (computers) if need be.
All in all I feel that the single-player mode has some serious issues with following the storyline and if you are getting the game for the single-player mode you will be very disappointed. You should get this game for the multi-player function and the single-player mode is just a nice little bonus.
