its great compared to other free to play/pay to play mmorpgs though sometimes the free to play maode can feel limiting.

Most free online games can be lacking and boring. The graphics are better than other free mmos and its actually fun. You can even get your own ship. You can also sail with other people while one person controls the boat and other people arm the cannons and fire at ships. You can fight npc flagships once they get to low health all of the ships sailors will have to soot grappling hooks from the cannons then you everyone swings across and you can try to wipe out all of the enemy navy sailors/undead pirates. You can go to many places from the movies like tortuga and port royal. You can also meet some of the main characters from the movie. There is also tons of new islands. You can get your first to weapons early i hte game you can get a sword and sword training from will turner and gun training and a pistol for Barbossa. You can get a vodoo doll from a quest chain and a staff with a mebership. the vodoo doll has both figthing and healing so its good for backing up other players.
You can also make and join guilds like in most mmos. though mebership can be limiting sinnce a lot of weapons and ships as well as two islands cant be received from free to play mode. Also the game has to recgonize words or it will change them into arr so you will have t go without a lot of internet slang words like roflmao
