Ok, I had gotten this game about a year ago and had just recently finished it and I must say, even though it doesn't have anything to do with the movies (besides the Black Pearl) it is really, really addictive. It is simply the best pirate sim ever!

The Good...

1. Beautiful graphics and environments.
2. Excellent musical score.
3. Able to do anything a pirate would do (hire crew, fix ship, plunder).
4. Ability to buy and name a ship.
5. Historically accurate sword fighting.
6. Very well done ship battles.

The Bad...

1. Not able to create your own pirate.
2. Some side quests could get repetative.
3. Weather system could have been better.
4. World map compass is useless.
5. Pretty easy to die (depending if you're using a cheat code or not).
6. Officers can die pretty easly.
7. NOT BEING ABLE TO CAPTURE AND USE THE BLACK PEARL!!!!

Despite the few negetives of this game, it is very well done. This is a must have for any fans of Pirates of the Caribbean or just pirates.
