I love Pitfall II, it was my first foray into a game which side scrolled, went top to bottom and had an actual purpose. The original pitfall had no real end, you just kept going. This game felt like it had a movie plot and really made sense for its time and era. Graphically, it was better than most games at the time and the sound was good to. The replay value wasn't there as it took a while to complete, and there was nothing different to do once you completed the game. I believe there was a Pitfall III, although I don;t really remember much past this one. A very good game to play.
