Possible one of the best 2D remake of a 3D game.

Pixel Force: Left 4 Dead is a re-make of a 3D game and turned it into a NES kind of game. It's lengthy and is worth the download. WHY? Cause it's free. Now when I first played it I disliked it cause it was hard getting use to. But the graphics of the 2D game were good and felt like a NES game.(The good NES games).

Fighting the enemies is simple. The boomer seems like he don't try to kill you at all. The witch can't be killed as far as I know. The Hunter can leap at you almost instantly but good thing he don't stay on you like the real game.

Unlike most NES games you get infinite lives if you manage to get to a safehouse. The part that sucks is when you die the weapons like auto shotgun and assault rifle. (Assault Rifle is better hit the H key 3 times fast to kill a zombie. Don't Hold it cause your wasting ammo unless special infected.) The point is if you die you feel like restarting over or just quiting cause getting the old shotgun and Uzi makes game to hard at some points. No saving at safehouse and no picking campaigns is another annoyance to me.

My downside on the graphics are... WTF almost all of the enemies are blue.

The main problem is... WHERE is the control configuration.... I want to plug in my PS3 or 360 or maybe even joystick and play it off of that. The controls are the sad part of the game. I want to use the PS3 D-Pad (Don't down rate cause I said PS3, the PS3 D-Pad is better than the 360's.) Instead you have to use the WASD keys on your keyboard. You also use the H to shoot and U to melee. The WASD keys are average at best but H to shoot and U to melee is annoying. Using the PS3 controller or 360 controller will make it feel more like a NES game than what it is now.

I'm hoping that Eric Ruth will add a Control Config to the game cause using a 360, PS3, Joystick, or any gamepad would be better than using WASD keys and H to shoot and U to melee.

Overall due to the fact that it's free. It's worth it. Hopefully it will come to PSN and XBL Arcade. I doubt Microsoftt will allow them to put it on there for free. Valve tried to let there DLC for L4D1 on there for free but Microsoft forced them to charge like 7 dollars for a 2 level campaign. I mean Pixel Force Left 4 Dead is LONG I mean LONG. So if they charged like a 1 dollar indie game. Go for it unless Eric Ruth releases a controller config.
