You can now have this classic for under 5 bucks!
Great surprising story and depth characters.
Costs about 3 bucks nowadays
Not that outdated (patches improve performance and visualization)
The bad:
Interface not as intuitive and pleasing as in modern games
I would prefer it were a little more combat oriented
Needs a few unofficial patches to clear bugs.
Bought baldurs gate previously and got bored quickly.
Yet i got this one having great expectations based on reviews, and i wasn't disappointed.
Rarely i find games whose plot i cannot spit at for all the holes and predictability.
I really like when a game sticks to the rules it starts with and doesn't simply "cheat" to get things done.
Seems i have to resort to older games in order to find this kind of immersive stories as newer games seem to lack innovation and are mere copies of older games.
Where can you find nowadays a game with a story not filled with newage crap and clichés regardind recycling or the ozone layer or discrimination or every kind of political nausea?
I cant wait for the sequel (Tides of Numenera) although i cant imagine where the story would fit, i saw no loose ends left behind in planescape.
