Fun space adventure BBS doorgame.
This came out a little later than other popular door games, so the interface was more streamlined (for the time).
It also boasted some impressive ANSI graphics, so as far as online games went for the time, it was very pretty.
You coasted around space fighting other aliens, gathering supplies, buying/trading, and colonizing planets. It also has a funny sense of humor, and even though it's relatively simple, you could get lost in the game pretty easy. The only thing that stunk is you never had many turns per session, but I think it just kept you coming back for more, and kept the game from getting too fast-paced or too out of hand.
You could boost up the defenses of your planets and try to take over other peoples. The best way to do this was to create cartels and team up with other people. In a good game, you could have 50 people, about half in cartels and the others lone-rangers so to speak.
Revolutionary for its time, now almost completely forgotten.
