Plants vs. Zombies takes the repetitive nature of tower-defense style gaming to new, and hilariously impressive heights.

I had first seen the game on an Ipad while browsing the computer department at my local Best Buy and was more or less indifferent to the format. However, all I had to do was watch a mere 20 minutes of its gameplay to know that this was a game I would eat up (forgive the lameness of that statement). Plants vs. Zombies reminds me of the tower-defense scenarios created in Starcraft and other RTS's, yet it manages to simplify the gameplay while making it all the more addictive and enjoyable. The zombie animations are great and often hilarious; not to mention the plants provide numerous methods of creative defense. Even though I powered my way through the adventure mode in a few hours, I was surprised to see the replay value and other content present within this game. Really, I cannot say anymore than this is a terrific game, and quite easily a classic to return to again, and again, and again, and again...
