Home is not a game, so that makes it a little harder to describe.
The Good:
Home can be fun but remember this is not a run n gun game or a game in general, its a social service. That being said, the first nice thing is that the avatar creation is complicated and maybe a little limited as far as clothing and facial hair goes, but its still pretty cool and not very difficult. Another thing that could make or break a virtual life/chat room would be the people in it. This will go under good and bad. The good is that most of the people are friendly and there aren't too many problems. There aren't many places to explore because its just been started up but the areas currently available are nicely presented and have a good charm to them.
The Bad:
Unfortunately, since its still in the beta stage, it is a little buggy. Sometimes you will see people that are only heads and the rest of their body is invisible, sometimes you won't be able to log in for some reason, sometimes things just don't work. Whether these things happen often or every once in a while, when they do it can cripple the experience. Also, while there aren't many problems with the people some just come on there to cuss and just flat out annoy you. It also seems like no girl can walk 10 minutes without an army of guys following her, and its really creepy. Guys will constantly hit on girls and make sexual remarks and the fact it isn't real life added that there are guys pretending to be girls all over the place make it that much more akward.
All in all, don't get this if you are expecting a game, or if you aren't into social programs or perverted guys. If the good sounds promising and the bad aren't enough to bother you, then by all means check it out, its free anyway.
