The handhelds future

The PSP was something I was looking at for a long time. Even though sometimes I would see something bad about it in a review, but if you look it's mostly Nintendo fanboys pointing out it's minor or non-existent faults. The dead pixel problem is extremely minor. I have seen three of my friends with a PSP and they have probably one extremely small dead pixel, which by the way is virtually impossible to see while playing. You would need a pitch black picture for a few seconds to actually see them. Battery is not a problem as long as the light setting is on low. I can get about ten hours while playing. The only thing I found as a problem is to be outside on an extremely sunny day and then having a glare on the screen. I heard though that Logitech's Playgear Pocket(PGP) can stop glares with is shell/stand. To point out some good notes, other than contradicting the DS fanboys, the PSPs graphics are beautiful, wide screen with clear pictures, nice sound, and controls that can be gotten used to in a day or so. It's menu is a nice, easily accessible treat. There are also great games out and still coming! The PSP supports downloads of music in MP3 format which can be accessed in the menu. Another feature is the video downloading. To get large amounts though you'll probably need a large memory stick. One of the nicest features around is the updates. For those who don't know what those are you can download these updates(firmware) on your PSP and you can get even more features! (ex. firmware 2.0 allows web browsing, new formats under photo, ect.). Games and UMDs are really good. Some people say that there slim or lacking in games, but I think that there all fine and fun. But if you agree then look at the future line-up. If you have a favorite movie, most likely, it will be on UMD. There becoming as common as DVDs. So the PSP turns out, in my eyes, to be one of the most innovative little gadgets on the market right now.
