When it comes to free MMOs on the android, there's not a lot of choices. Pocket Legends is there, but not my number one.

If you're looking for the type of game to play while sitting in a waiting room that won't cost you an arm and a leg, Pocket Legends is definitely an option. While it is certainly not the best as far as graphics go on a mobile gaming device (i.e. an android phone), it does have a surprising amount of content. That is, if you're willing to pay.

Once a player has gotten used to the controls, getting through the game isn't much of a challenge. However, at some points it seems a group is absolutely necessary to proceed further in the quest line.

One of the things that bothered me most is that your class determines your gender. And, as expected, it is the healer class that is female. No stereotypes there, right? On the brighter side of things in the class area, there are different specs the player can pick up.

That said, Pocket Legends is a free game to pick up and try out, so there really isn't much harm in trying it out. It is perfect for waiting around, and perfect for travelling in the car.
