Has the potential to the be best pokemon game to date, however easy difficulty and ugly pokemon hold it from doing so.

What can i say? Its pokemon. One of the best RPG game series of all time that is excellent for both children and adults alike. This game isnt any different from what you have experienced before however improvements put into the game really give this one to be the best pokemon game to date. The pros to this game are, that 1. it sticks to the classic highly addictive and great fun pokemon formula that makes all pokemon games great to date. 2. Different camera angles put the game into great perspective along with some stunning graphical sequences on bridges and such really does something unique and different to the pokemon games. 3. Pokemon Black/White adds a story, which is what basically all previous pokemon games lacked (or a good one at least). Even though I am not finished, (20 to 40 hours in) I can already see an interesting story forming that i can see slowly grasping me. I also heard that the climax of the game it amazing storywise. 4.Gym leaders actually make sense and dont make you feel as if they are out of place in the game, for example, the 5th gym leader is ground type and 6th is flying. This actually makes sense being that ground-type attacks do not effect flying. The few cons to this game are 1.This game is waaaaayyy to easy. This may be good for kids however for pokemon fans that enjoy the challenge that older pokemon games provided you will not be getting that here at all! In fact, i just defeated the 6th gym without her pokemon hitting me once (thats right i 1-hit Koed all of her pokemon) now thats just sad and sort of dissapointing. 2.Maybe its just me but I find that some of the new pokemon in the Unova region are just plain ugly plus many lack a lot of originality that you can see in the creatures from previous pokemon games. You can definitely see that the game developers are running out of ideas for pokemon. I mean, just look up the pokemon Klink or Trubbish. All in all, this latest installment in the pokemon franchise almost gets it perfect, however the few drawbacks that it does have definitely take this game from being the best pokemon of all time.
