Watch your virtual Pokemon watch TV. Fun times.

This game is NOT worth the Pokemon title. You start out by receiving a TV, and Prof. Oak asking you to test out the Pokemon Channel. You befriend a wild Pikachu, who eventually electrocutes your TV. You can buy stuff for your room, but there's no point, because the only thing you look at is the TV.

BUT, you can explore! You can buy bus passes, and walk around the field behind your house. Finding time to walk around is very rare, though. Your Pikachu will throw a hissy fit if you hit that power button, and prevent you from getting the fresh air you need.

Some of the TV shows are okay, though... Such as the Wobuffet thing. You can be quizzed and stuff. The Pichu Bros. are mildly entertaining. But most of it is just crap.

So. The main point of this game? While watching your TV, holding a GameCube controller, you can watch your virtual Pikachu watch TV. It can take hours for your Pokemon to get over watching the same episode OVER and over and OVER and get off his lazy bum to play outside, where there isn't much to do or explore. The only quest-like part of the game was when Oak tells you to explore an ancient tomb to retrieve a missing 2 minute episode of the Pichu Bros.
