What can I say about Pokemon Platinum?

As a 90's kid I'm used to more of the old-school type of pkm games. However I have recently purchased a DS (last year, I guess not that recent) and I must say that I'm pretty impressed with the Pokemon games that I have seen on it. (However, I do not care for how Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum were made so similar.) Pokemon Platinum is a great game if you have absolutely nothing to do (like over summer break), but I would not recommend it for during the school year due to how addictive it is. I had been playing Platinum over the school year and had notice quite a slip in my grades after a while. But if you're the type of person that really doesn't care, buying this game over the school year shouldn't be a problem...

The Positives of Pkm Platinum: Great Wifi connection and Distortion World really make this game stand apart from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. As with all Pokemon games you can really never stop trying to be a better trainer, so the fun really never ends. The main reason why this game should be bought is because you can trade pkm with other trainers online, and you can trade pkm from different games if you are not pleased with the Pokemon on the Platinum version.

The Negatives of Pkm Platinum: If you already have Diamond or Pearl, you basically have Platinum. I really don't care for how the same Pokemon are in all three games... If you want to make a video game make each game more distinguished than just having more online features and a distortion world... How about new Pokemon for on a new Pokemon game?
