Old, but new.

The game may have a new name, but it's more or less the same game you played 3 years ago, just with a few tweeks here and there.

Story: The story is almost a complete rehash of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. You set out into the lake with your friend who charges you $10,000,000 if you are late to his whatever-he-was-doing, and end up with new Pokemon. It only gets docked points because of this rehashery. 8/10

Graphics: The graphics have a few tweeks here and there. Almost every Pokemon has had their sprites redone from Diamond and Pearl. The only one I noticed that didn't look different is Magby. 9/10

Difficulty: If you've played a lot of Pokemon games, you can easily just breeze through this game. It can be a little easy sometimes, like when the gym that is weak against your starter turns out to be just what you expected. Too easy. Otherwise, the game is challenging at some points, but it retains a standard difficulty level. 10/10

Controls: The controls have been kept the same throughout every Pokemon game... except when it hit the DS with Pokemon Dash and Pokemon Ranger. This is one of the only control schemes that have stayed with us in Pokemon Games. 10/10

Overall, if you aren't a huge Pokemon fan, you should probably stick with your Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. It's almost a complete rehash of them. That's the only reason this game is kept from perfection.
