A good remake of an Nintendo classic. Not as deep as other RPGs. I recomend this if you love RPGs or love the cartoon.

Pokemon games are not just for kids. This is another addition to the to a long line of superb Nintendo games. Pokemon red is the game that made the gameboy so popular well, that and Tetris. :Gameplay: This is a very good RPG. But it's amazing how much extra work is put in this game. They put added a rock-paper-scissors element to this game and what I mean by that is fire Pokemon are weak against water Pokemon. Water Pokemon is weak again electric Pokemon and so on. The attack animations are never the same. :Graphics: I think the graphic are superb, but they’re not perfect. :Sound: The sounds are never off key. The bad thing is that the Pokemon have strange cries that sound nothing like the Pokemon. :Value: After you beat the game there's really nothing to do. So my advice is to trade this game in. :Tilt: This is one of the best RPG I’ve played. So even if you’ve had Pokemon Red you should get this game
