We thought Pokemon was good in '97 with Red & Blue. Clearly enough people loved it to bring in Gold & Silver, possibly the best in the series. Next came Ruby and Sapphire, a solid contribution to the world of Pokemon... and along came this. FireRed and LeafGreen are just what the Pokemon world needed: A refresher of what started all the greatness, paired up with new graphics, features and stories. Pokemon fans can't help loving this adventure!

The only complaint I might have is the difficulty - or rather, the ease. Red and Blue were hard enough, because the game was being introduced for the first time. But now that there's been a few newer installments in the series, the games have gotten easier and easier to play. A more difficult storyline may be just what the doctor ordered for the next games.

All in all, FireRed and LeafGreen are a hit, and definitely not a miss. In other words, you'd better HIT the game store, because you don't want to MISS this game!
