While its fundamentally simplistic, its strangley addictive and undeniably fun. This game fuses several simple elements of turn based rpg, and the large majority of the gamplay is in battle. The battle systems fairly simple on the surface but has many elements underneath to make it worth playing.

The puzzles are all simplistic, and often tedious, which goes to show that thats far from the strong suit of the game. All in all however, it joins together to stand strong and claws you at the throat, and hooks you nearly instantly.

Gameplay - 7
Its main fault is its lack of diversity, and somewhat shallow selection of activity's. Its highest delivering is inside its large range of pokemon, and its satisfying battle system.

Graphics - 8
While not groundbreaking, its decent. The sprites are all sharp, the animations are the best yet, and last but not least the environments are fairly colorful.

Sound - 6
While not exactly annoying, it is repetitive and loses its quirky fun feel rather quickly. I kept it on mute most of the time.

Overall - 8.0
Largely made up of recycled material, and not a diverse shining stone of work, but past its flaws it really excels and grasps.
