Great game for red/blue/yellow players who haven't tasted gold or silver.

I played silver and their is a few differences to it ( like yellow/emerald). But to people who had a coma for the full year of 2000 than this is an excellent game to any pokemon fan or just a causal gamer who has a liking to role-playing games that is long, true to the adventure story, collecting things (pokemons) rare items and leveling up to defeat people that levels go higher as you progress in this addictive game. But to person who played gold/silver it is a bit of a dissapontment for a game very much similar to gold/silver, same story, characters, items, and monsters( in general ). Nintendo is did the same thing from the first series (red/blue) by making yellow and the newer series (ruby/sapphire) by making emerald. So in general good game for a hardcore pokemon fan or a causal gamer who haven't played any pokemon game or looking for a different role-playing game for the gameboy color.
