One of the best sequels in gaming, Pokemon Silver delivers what Pokemon Blue and Red left out, along with more Pokemon.

This game was my first ever Pokemon game. I would play it 24/7 and stay up late nights to beat it. It is probably my favorite gameboy game and my most nostalgic one too.... but I sold it at a yard sale. I still kill myself over it. I'll probably buy another one. I'm almost 16 years old, and I still love this game.

After Ash becomes a Pokemon master, a new trainer rises: that's you. A new world awaits, the Johto region. You will face new leaders, encounter new and old Pokemon. New types were even created, such as Dark and Bug. And even after you conquer the Johto region, there is a whole other one: Kanto. In the end you must face the one and only Ash. To sum the game up, there are 250 Pokemon in total, 16 gym leaders, two regions, the Elite Four, and Ash (to face at the end).

Pokemon Silver is a slight upgrade in visuals from the original Red/Blue games. The isn't just one color: the grass is green, dirt is brown, etc. Pokemon fights are also more eye appealing, with better move graphics. Remember how your Pokemon used to look really weird when you sent it out to battle? Well now the Pokemon look alot better.

New landscapes are added as well, such as mountains, ice, a huge lake, and waterfalls. There is even a train to ride on! These aspects only made the game more epic, and that is why I like it.

I love Pokemon Silver, and it is defintely my favorite Gameboy game by far. I hope to buy this game over again, as I greatly miss it. I have Crystal version too, but I cannot save due to a battery worn out.
