It's just like the original. Better graphics. I'm not even halfway through and it caught me from the beginning. The best part about this new series is the pokewalker. You can take your pokemon out the the game and carry them around in real life. The pokewalker is pretty much a pedometer. It counts how many steps you take. The more step you take, then the more experience and the more friendliness your pokemon gains. I think the Pokewalker is good for when you dont have time the play the game but still wanna train your pokemon on the go. You can do little short battles and even catch wild pokemon, while your pokemon is out of the game. Sometimes, I just take my Pokewalker out, and stuff it in my sock and shake my foot.
The graphics are SO updated. Pokemon never looked so good. Although I thought there were a few things they could've done new with the battle system. The battle system still looks like the Ruby and Sapphire battles. Other than that, the game is definitey a "must get" if you're a pokmon fan AT ALL.
