When the whole Pokemon phenomenon was going wild, I wanted so much to play the games and Pokemon Red gave me loads of hours of fun. The game was awesome, allowing you to catch all 150 Pokemon, with all your fav's their especially Pikachu. The game gave you battles which were great even on the GBC screen.

The characters were not that of the tv show and all the merchandise but a person you could name, allowing you to feel like you were going to become a Pokemon Master and after all your hard work you got it. But to make the game perfect you needed to do two things, to get all 150 Pokemon and attemtpt to get all of them to Level 100. I did the first part, but level 100 idea was near impossible as it would take ages to get people you hadnt beaen to battle and their level would increase slowly.

But Pokemon in all was a lot of fun and provided a nice time.
