The first and most immersive RPG game I've ever played in the Gameboy.

This was the very first RPG game I've played in the gameboy and found it one of the best. Of course, comparing this game with today's games, this would totally suck. But during its days, it had all the aspects of a perfect RPG game.

Immersive world which you can freely explore flying to different towns using teleport and Pokemons. Awesome leveling up and customization. Personal preferences on evolving your pokemons and most of all, great story as well.

Pikachu is certainly one of the cutest Pokemons or characters ever created. The big thing I find with the Yellow compared to Pokemon Red or Blue is the fact that Pikachu will constantly follow you around which is really cute.

The vast exploration and different pokemons make this game one of the best of the original series but also has its flaws. Comparing it to the new ones, I still like how simple it was and how easy it was to complete your 150 Pokedex. Today, completing your Pokedex would be almost impossible with the bazillion Pokemons out there.
