The last of the original Pokemon trilogy offers you another entertaining and extremely addicting adventure. If you’re not accustomed with the Pokemon series, this is how the plot goes on practically every game: you play as a boy who’s offered a pokemon by a very well known and respected pokemon professor and your mission is to become the best pokemon trainer in the world and to catch every single pokemon that exists because the old professor is too old to do all that and since you’re such a nice lad you will do him this “little” favor. Like its predecessors, the Yellow version has a very easy and intuitive gameplay which makes it almost impossible to stop playing. Graphics wise, there have been many changes from the Red and Blue versions, yes that’s right, it’s in colors now! Also, the pokemon appear in different positions on the battle screen and they look more “japanesy”. To complete such a great RPG there are the already well known songs that will stay in your head for years to come, believe me, the song that pops out when you enter a Pokemon Center will stick eternally in your mind. Also, to make this a game that virtually has never an end, there’s the multiplayer mode that will bring you loads of fun together with a friend. To finish this brief review, Pokemon Yellow was obviously made for commercial sake but it’s still worth buying because it will last longer than most games do these days and also because you can easily find it for sale for a very low price in any store or online.
