When this game first came out I had never seen anything like it. I soon became wrapped up in the pokemon world, dedicated to training and collecting monsters, earning badges and exploring. I spent dozens of hours on this game, collected all 151 pokemon, and must say this game is a masterpiece. The glitches were also fun to play around with, but they aren't in any other pokemon games. The game can be hard, and a little frustrating, especially the Elite Four, but the game always gives you opportunities to get stronger before a tough battle so there's no way to really get stuck. Even though it seems outdated now, it was groundbreaking at the time, and even though the sequels are good, the original is still the best!
