Of the 3 Gameboy pokemon games, Blue is probably the one I spent the most time playing and felt the most adapted to.

Pokemon Blue was a game that I'd go as far to say it was my favorite of the original 3 pokemon games. Merely being on this forum again has made me want to purchase a Gameboy SP so I can play blue, red, and yellow again since it truly has been years. Part of why I played Blue more is probably because for awhile as a kid I liked Blastoice the most out of the final starter forms. I dare to say the wild pokemon you'd encounter in Blue was slightly weaker than it was in Red but other then that there weren't any massive differences between the two. Tons of old Pokemon rumors were always fun as well such as the 298 theories each claiming they knew what was under the truck near the St.Anne, or how to unlock Togepi. Neither of these turned out to be true but it was always fun trying those outlandish things to see what would happen
