The game that started it all,(along with Blue version) Pokemon Red Version is a classic that shouldn't be missed by anyone that has any interest at all in the world of Pokemon. It has a great original soundtrack that compliments the lighthearted nature of the game. The time i spent on this game was around 25 hours, but it could easily go up to 50 or more hours. Pokemon is also a great game to play with friends with different things to do like trading and battling. There's also a lot of strategy involved with battling since every Pokemon has a strenght that makes it effective against different types of Pokemon, and a weakness that makes it almost useless against certain types of Pokemon. The graphics aren't anything special, but they do have many details that add to the overall feel of the game. All in all, an amazing variety of Pokemon to collect, great story and good graphics makes this a worthwhile adventure for fans of the series.
