the pokemon games have always been an amazing series of RPGs. they provide great game play and replay value. in this instalment "Emerald" this game is the same as Ruby and Sapphire but with some new stuffr....

Gameplay: this is the best part of the game. so much to do, now there are like 386 pokemon to catch and train. there is the usual 8 gyms and the elite 4 and the champion to battle, you have a rival who does rival stuff, but hes a good rival, hes not evil he is good. the same as the pokemon games. after you beat the main part of the game you can go to the newest addition to the game, Battle Frontier. it is like an amusment park for pokemon battling. there are i belive 7 leaders there to battle on 2 difficulties. you can battle as much as you want. also there is a match call system on the pokenav which is like the phone from pokemon gold and silver. you can also rechalenge the gyms as well, there are pokemon contests to enter, there are also things called battle tents and battle hill. there is the safari zone and new areas in the saffari zone, plus new places to go after the game is done and side quests, this game has great game play value

sound: sound is alright, good old pokemon bleeps and bloops

graphics: beautiful GBA graphics, same as pokemon ruby and sapphire. the pokemon move when they come out of their pokeballs like in Crystal

overall this game is amazing, you get so much for the 30 dollars you pay for it.

even if u like or hate pokemon you should try it out
