Another great spin-off version duo from Nintendo.

User Rating: 8.6 | Pokemon Sapphire Version GBA
Gameplay: Just like all the other Pokemon RPG's, your main goal is catching all the Pokemon, collecting all the Gym badges, and compete in the Pokemon Leage. It's dejavu, yes, but this time, Nintendo makes that process in a much more interesting way. Nintendo did many nice upgrades for Ruby and Sapphire versions. I'll name just a few though. There is yet another 100 set of new Pokemon added, however, that doesn't mean you have to capture all 350 Pokemon to this date. You only need to get 200 Pokemon. (Nintendo did not bring back all of the old Pokemon from previous versions.) Also, now you can run in the fields. AND, there are a good bunch of new moves to teach the Pokemon. Basically, Ruby and Shapphire feature nice additions for any Pokemon fan. However, the versions don't have everything that the previous versions had. For example, you don't have a radio like you did in Gold and Silver, and the clock-based events aren't as pervalent as Gold and Silvers' was. But that shouldn't be a major problem, as this game features completly more brand-new stuff that the previous versions did not have. Nintendo did a great job on preparing this game for all of us. This should interest pretty much any Pokemon fan. Graphics: The graphics are upgraded from their Game Boy roots into GBA soil. Everything looks colorful and nicely detailed. Now there's weather effects in some of the routes you go, and they change on differnet days. Now thats cool. Now the characters have better details then before. Overall, this is a colorful great-looking 2D RPG. Sound: Once again, the music is great. The Music score totally fits in with the tastes of the game. The sound effects have been ripped from the previous Pokemon games, and the old Pokemon still have the same Game Boy-like crys. A good soundwork that never lets me down. Conclusion: Nintendo never lets me down when it comes to Pokemon RPG's. The game plays great, the game looks colorful and cool, and the music is so memorable. This is one of my favorite GBA games. This game is a classic. There are so many unlockables, and this game always has something to come back and play it again. I'm so proud of this game's performence.
