The pokemon are nice but the gameplay is what makes it so great. A
big upgrade from the gameboy ones, the sound is a big upgrade too. Graphics are ok. Tthe story is the same , a boy or girl goes out in search to become the greatest pokemon master of all time and to catch and collect all the pokemon. I t does sounds boring but its formula has brought over ten games and ten years of pokemon fun. It will keep you occupied for hundreds of hours and is way way way better than the originals. All in all this game is well worth buying or renting.
