While the Pokemon franchise is shunned by most people for it's childlike games, Emerald proves those people wrong!

I've played Pokemon games since 1998 when Blue and Red came out in USA. I was 7. Ever since that fateful day, I was hooked.

Pokemon- the name says 'Japanese cartoon for kids' , doesn't it? While generally true, the video games (Gameboy, GB Color, and GB Advance games only) are fun, entertaining, and not childlike in the least; though there is no blood or guts that teens (and other hormonally-unbalanced people) seem to crave.

There are currently 5 Pokemon games for the Gameboy Advance. These are the best and easiest to get nowadays.
Ruby/Sapphire, Fire-Red/Leaf-Green, and Emerald.
All are great, but Emerald beats them all.

In case you didn't know, Pokemon is a game where you, as a 10-year-old hero, must train Pokemon and achieve your dream of being a Pokemon Master (all Pokemon caught, all trainers beat). Fortunately, this is a big task, and your journey to get there is not as straightforward as that. There's currently 365 Pokemon (with something like 360 actually catchable).

All of my close friends and family (not adults though) have at least one Pokemon game. I've owned one from every series ever issued in the USA. If you haven't played a Pokemon handheld game yet- get one, any one, and see if your Master material.

Here's a list of EVERY Pokemon RPG that's recommended. Just be sure to get a GBA game unless you don't have a GBA!

Blue/Red, Yellow, Gold/Silver, Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire, Fire-Red/Leaf-Green, Emerald
