First of all, I'm a pokemon fan, so i'll analize it as a fan would. This game is great, the only reason why the score is not so high is because the sound is not that great and the graphics are considerably bad for the gba. The sound is bad? No, never! I love the musics of the game, really, but i think the gba has enough capacity for the pokemons to have their own voices, i mean, yelling their names, like in Super mario advence and zelda: minish cap. The gameplay is pretty simple, that's why i didn't give a higher score, i just think it's too slow, even for a turn based RPG, but what makes it boring are the pokemon attacks, cause the graphics are not very good, they could make the attacks look just like advence wars, everytime you attack, a scene like the one in advence wars would appear, that would be nice, and less boring. But the good part of this game is the strategy. No new types, but 135 new pokemon!! and many, many new moves!! want more? new type combinations(fire/plant, steel/psychic), and the most important..abilities! each pokemon has it's own hability, like "traunt"(attacks every two turns), "clear body"(prevents ability redution), "air lock"(negates weather effects), "drought"(summons sunlight in battle) and many more!! This game will take from 35 to 60h to finish(defeat the elite four) the first time, it depends if your a trainer that likes to train, and pacient(like me) or if your the type that scapes from trainers as much as you can. If you have someone to play to battle with, this game takes forever, cuz you'll just keep training, IF you really like this game, some people just get bored of training. If you a fan, this is the most strategic pokemon game ever, and much more challenging. And if you've always wanted to play pokemon, this is a good game to star with, it'll just take more to learn, since it's more complex.
