However, the worst feature when you are starting out is raising another stong pokemon, becuase your starter is sooo much more stronger than everything else, and he crushes stuff easily. Yet, when you have infinite rare candies and money, it dosent seem too bad.
Having two rivals was an intresting twist for me, becuase wally seemed more important that the other one....
Chosing the starters was difficult at first, but soon i realized the only true power was Torchic(Charmander) whatever.
Groudon was hard to catch when i didnt have any master balls and stuff, so i kept trying, took me 6 tries. Rayquaza and Latios were no easy feat either. Without the master ball, i constantly lost latios and rayquaza was all abut possible to catch.
My ultimate goal for many weeks has been to build the ultimate team, and so far, i have failed. using only normal pokemon, (no legendaries), i and going to crush my cousin in a dual battle. (2 on 2 battle)
Which brings me to the 2 on 2 battling system. This type of batting opened up a passage for new combos, new moves and inresting side products.
The pokemon league, my former most favorite part of the game. Training with annnoying pokemon, and testing out teams only to find that you overpowered the Elite four with ease.
In total, pokemon ruby is another all around good game and deserves a ten.
Go pokemon Ruby. Yay.
