pokemon is an addictive experince from red and blue to emerald the gameplay stays the same which is not nesscialry a bad thing don't mess with the formula unfortunately it feels the same to ruby and sapphire apart from the battle frontier and the fact that you face team aqua and magma also that you can catch both groundon and kyroge.the pokemon have little animations like they did in crystal its a nice little touch to the battle.in all pokemon emerald is a nice addition to the collection
