This game was pretty good. It kept me occupied for about 70 hours. LoL, my friend invested over 500 hours(!) in this game. That shows you how addicting it is.

I digged the graphic style in it also. I would say it is anime style but I don't watch anime so i don't know what anime style means. The graphics are good overall, especially the character and Poke'mon animations.

The sound is average. Nothing new from Ruby & Saphire.

The gameplay is very good. Well, if you like this sorta thing. It is a simple RPG, for the simple minded who don't like the more complex RPG's like Final Fantasy. Everything is basically recycled from Ruby & Saphire except the Team Aqua and Magma sequences and Grodon and Krogre and the Battle Fronteir. The Battle Fronteir should be the only reason you should get this game because it is so fun.

So, if you skipped Ruby & Saphire, you should buy this one instead. It just seems kind of soon to be making a remake of a game that was released 2 or 3 years ago. They should be remaking Gold & Silver the best Poke'mon games instead.

  Pokemon Emerald may be similar to Ruby and Sapphire in parts, but overall, it's an enjoyable experience.
