as always nintendo is trying to extend popularity to pokemon and making up all new ideas and pokemon in poke ruby u start out as may or the other guy and u pik either mudkip treeko torchic then u go off u fight gym leaders and get all eight badges go on into the elite four then u go get all the rare pokemon after u finish the game e.g jirouchi(which u can only get with gameshark) latios and latias and yea catch all the pokemon. unlike the other pokemon games gold silver blue red crystal it has pokemon contests and new pokemon some more new features but as always u fight the elite 4 lol.
