The most stragetive game of all GBA games. Bring it on!
Pokémon Ruby is 1 of the most sold games of GBA because of his graphics and the storyline. But... when you buy the game, think about it because i played for 215 hours and till now, i don't have all the 202 Pokémon! so it's not a game that you can play easily, you have to give some time to the game.
You begin as a normal boy whose going to his new house, but suddenly... you see the professor, Mr. Birch, he's being attacked by a Pokémon! This is where the story begins! When you see him, he will say to you that you must save him. You have to pick a Pokémon in the bag, but remember... the Pokémon you choose you have to carry you're whole journey through HOENN.
When you picked the Pokémon you wanted, you have to fight you're first Pokémon. Then... when you defeated him, you going back to him and he will say that you can have the Pokémon you choosed from the bag.
Then you will see and fight many other Pokémon trainers and you will have an enemy... the Team Magma! With this Pokémon team you will have a lot of problems in the game and they will not like you, either you will like them.
When you meet them for the first time you help Capt. Stern with this ship, you need to deliver the Devon goods you got from Rustboro city. And in you're journey you have to battle the gym leaders ofcourse, when you are strong enough and you can battle the Pokémon League. The Pokémon League you have to battle against 5 "master". The first has Pokémon from 40 till lvl 50, the second from 45 till 55, the third from 50 till 55, and the forth from 50 till 55 again. But the fifth Pokémon League "master" is Steven, he have 6 Pokémon and the highest of them is lvl 58.
In Ruby you will find secret and hidden Pokémon, if you want them you have to look hard. Also in Ruby you can make you're own Secret base, with this Secret base you can make you're own room you like from the decorations you got from buying or getting them from people. When you made this Secret base, you can send you're base also to you're friend just to link them with the last room on the second floor of every Pokécenter. You can also trade Pokémons and you can battle against you're friends.
The Pokémon where you hunt for in Ruby is Groudon, that's the Pokémon also covered on you're start screen when you play it.
So don't think this is a game that's easily, it's hard to catch all Pokémon and find all secrets.
