Get Emerald Version, and if you want this or Ruby, get Ruby version!!!
User Rating: 7 | Pokemon Sapphire Version GBA
I don't remember all the details of my experience with Ruby and Sapphire, but I can tell you that the game is good, not better than Emerald version. Only reason Emerald is rated less is because it is like a polished version of Ruby and Sapphire with a few changes. The game wasn't entirely new. Team Magma appeals more to me than Team Aqua does + Ruby has Solrock instead of Lunatone. This and Ruby are pretty much even with each other though. Ruby/Sapphire version offers great gameplay if it is your type. I enjoyed the game back when I had it, although I don't remember too much else. I liked to get a Ralts because I liked Gardevoir. If you get this, Sapphire, or Emerald start off with Torchic or Mudkip. Using a Treecko as your main Pokemon + the evolutions is pretty difficult when it comes to many of the gym battles. Do what you can without trading first such as capturing Regice, Registeel, and Regirock (which can prove to be quite difficult without any luck). Capture Rayquaza after defeating the Elite Four. Features this game beats Emerald in is the fact that any trainer you battle (I think) goes into your PokeNav while in Emerald only the few that register you. I have already made an Emerald review, and it wins in Battle Frontier, Rayquaza before Elite Four is possible, Kyogre and Groudon both in the game, you can gain both fossils, choose Latias or Latios, Magma and Aqua, increased difficulty in the game. GET EMERALD Version!!! (PS: I've owned several Pokemon games, the last of which I sold last year)
