Basically just a rehash of Ruby and Saphire with new features. The Battle Frontier isn't what I thought it would be.
Most veteran trainers buy this game only for the Battle Frontier, and I bet I'm right. Guess what? This cheap PokeParadise shinanigin is worse than Vegas. I've hauled ass with playing over 134 hours of this game and all I could get are all silver medals from each leader. The main objective is to choose one of seven challenges and do each set of battles several times in a row to encounter the leader. You have to do this even longer to get a gold medal. I hate having to rely on luck for every damn battle. Annoying trainers are so obsessed with attacks like confuse ray and wrap, making it impossible to get extremely far. They do this so much that it pi**es me off and wants to make me throw my game boy across the room. It is frustrating and intolerable and if you want to make the best creatures for Pokemon Las Vegas, use a gameshark. I also hate losing to 5 year old trainers in this game.
Overall I gave this game a 7.5 because the formula of the game still works, despite how much of a gimmick the Battle Frontier is. Pokemon is a deep game with many morals. If you think you are good enough to get all gold medals in the Frontier. THINK AGAIN!!! It is impossible unless you can conjure a strategy that is good enough. Good luck with this game!
