Ruby kills Sapphire and Emerald kills Ruby.

ok liek, the hoenn games were the last pkmn games i playd (well, b4 pearl) and emerald was way cool. but its harder than ruby/sapphire in some ways.

Pros & Cons


Pros: the pokemon have little animations which is cool.
The story line is deeper, with groudon, kyogre, and rayquaza. with ruby/sapphire it was just one of them and rayquaza was liek "duh, where am i?"
Battle fromtier makes it cool. its easy to get base stat raisers there. in the markets u need $9800 for 1 but u only need 1 BP for them.
u can get johto starters but they're pretty hard to get.

Cons: too many double battle so you needed your pokemon ready all the time.
Gyms r slightly harder liek norman and tate&liza.
(This doesn't really affect me but to all the NOOB pkmn players) You can get Rayquaza before the E4 so it's liek "HAI IMMA GOD I PWN DA ELITE 4 CUZ IMMA NOOOOOOOOB" and all thsoe little udnerage noobs using legends and sayign they're "so great." it pisses me off.
Teams Magma&Aqua have the simplest pkmn liek Zubat, Poochyena, Numel, and Carvahna, so its liek so boring to chase after them.
its a LONG time b4 you can fight the brains at the Frontier.

So as you can see, there are more cons. I dont like the Hoenn games that much, but ur opinion.
