We're about a month away till the realease of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl,Emerald is definitely a great practice to prepare you for it.In the game your the Hero of the story,you've moved to the Hoenn region of the Pokemon Universe with your mom,while dad's off running the Gym.Your rival (May)(or Brendan) just happends to be your next door neighbor,you two both set off on the journy to become pokemon masters!-
You'll start off in a truck that's transporting you to the region with your stuff.Eventually the truck will stop and you'll come out to see your mom waiting strait in front of you welcoming you to your new home.After you set your clock mom screms for you to come down because your dad the Gym leader is on TV!But you never make it on time....Anyways,mom forces you to go next door and meet the neighbors,after that Prof. Birch is in trouble in front of the town.Now is where you get your very first pokemon-
I DEFINITELY recommend this game to all of the people who love pokemon far and wide,The link cable to play against people in Pokemon Colloseum and XD makes it a great multiplayer!!

  Pokemon Emerald may be similar to Ruby and Sapphire in parts, but overall, it's an enjoyable experience.
