Pokemon Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald Version

Pros-
Brilliant idea (as all the pokemon games have been)
One of the best Game Boy games
Great Replay value

Cons-
Some of the older Pokemon fans will be missing some of the original Pokemon

The Pokemon series in general, is one that is brilliant, and popular worldwide and Pokemon Emerald is no exception to that. It is a deep, engrossing wide-open game, that you can easily come back and play it a totally different way after finishing it the first time through. The pokemon featured in the game are good, though some may find themselves missing some of the older pokemon. There is heaps of things for you to do in the pokemon world, whether it be following the main story, trying to catch 'em all or even some gambling.

  Pokemon Emerald may be similar to Ruby and Sapphire in parts, but overall, it's an enjoyable experience.
