This game is set towards a lower age market, but is still one of the best gba games out right now. It is the best one out of the sapphire, ruby and emerald series of pokemon, but is similar in lots of ways. Its in the same place and with the same pokemon as the last, but changes the plot slightly. Some new stuff in the game makes it cooler, like trainers can challenge you from all different angels at the same time, and battle at the same time.

In this game there is extra stuff like the battle frontier, which is quite amusing and changes the way you battle like for instance you can have a battle where you win by how cool your moves are or battle with the computer. The story line features both of the enemy teams (Magma and Aqua) which makes a better plot. if you like pokemon or RPGs in general, then this a must by. I think that pokemon games are the best suited games for the game boy advance (no matter how babyish you think you are).

  Pokemon Emerald may be similar to Ruby and Sapphire in parts, but overall, it's an enjoyable experience.
