I found this game to be nothing more than a task in memorizing which attacks are most effective. This is actually my very first Pokemon experience and I must say that I can see where the appeal is for all the adorable monsters and the highly addictive collecting and training that is the franchise staple however this game by itself is not very good. I suppose it was designed to suck more money out of Pokefans by letting them use their own monsters they had obtained in the Gameboy versions in a 3D battle. I was unable to test this feature but I predict that it would have made for a more rewarding experience. Unfortunately though, this game cartridge alone offers far too little content and variety of gameplay to recommend to anyone but the most hardcore of Pokemon fans. I hope this review was helpful and thanks for reading.
