Pokemon XD is considerably better then colosseum. First of all, the story mode is MUCH better, more mysterious, longer, and now there are some spots where you can catch wild pokemon, putting a trap and waiting....it's not that goood, but's better than nothing. The graphics are a bit better too, the areas are a bit more detailed, and the pokemon move more. The sound is the same terribly thing. No spoken dialogue, just texts, the backround music is boring, and the pokemon do the same sounds as in the gba. The gameplay is just the same as the last one, so it's pretty good. Now you can save the game anywhere at any time!! it was pretty annoying to search for a PC when you wanted to turn off wans't it? And now it's much faster to purificate a pokemon. The battle mode is what really improved. Now you can choose pokemons like you could in pokemon stadium, they're ready to be used, that helps a lot when you want just a casual battle, and you can choose the arena, the rules, etc. Pokemon leaves the Gamecube(i'm almost sure)with great stile. This is a good pokemon game, that measures it's name value. Since i borrowed from a friend i didnt pay anything, but it's worth paying 50 bucks.
