Pole position is a simple yet fun racing game. Its pretty fast with some obstactles in the way like signs and other karts. You are timed which is really risky since you cant go to fast or you will over heat a drive off course. As we all know this was the 80's so dont expect anything spectacular out of the graphics and sound quality. Im fine with the graphics the sound just hurts your ears after a while. The games also strongly addicted. Kind of like the drug form of a game.You usually will never stop. Even with just a couple of courses its challenging so you want to play the courses over and over again so you can actually beat them. Pole position is a great way to experience racing in arcade form. Be on the look out for pole position in you're local arcade, pizza joint or bowling alley.
