This game is what "arcade game" means to me. It was the meat and potatoes of any arcade in the mid 80s. You didn't have adjustable cushioned massaging orthopedic heated seats, fancy gear shifting with 10 or 20 gears to mess around with...Hell you didn't even have a drink holder. You had a wooden box you climbed into, you sat on a plank and you spun a hard plastic wheel in a circle. That is what arcade game means to me. Nothing fancy or gimmicky, no insert $5 to play. Just .25cents to play to your hearts content.
Living during the golden years of arcade gaming is something I will always cherish. Many people may never get a chance to appreciate something that was so very special. Finding these machines is becoming harder and harder and getting that true arcade experience is nearly impossible on consoles. Did this game have amazing graphics? No, it didn't. Did this game have depth of features? No, it didn't. Was this game one of the first games I played when I visited the arcade. Yes it was. Each and every time I stepped foot inside the arcade I played this game. Why? You ask? Because it's what going to the arcade is all about...
Having fun for the sake of having fun!
