Pool Paradise is a very well done game that has been polished and presents the game of billiards in a great form. Handling and the movements of the balls are great and there is a lot of depth to the shots you can make and nuances that are available to you. The only issue I have playing the game is the amount of wait you have to do for the computers shots. You have to watch them walk over to the table set up and shoot over and over again and it gets very tiresome quickly. This might not be as bad if the game had some great music to listen to but there's no such luck here.

There are mostly background sounds with little musical overtones that really don't provide anything. The sound effects are great but unfortunately that's it. While the game does look good it really could have earned some points from me if they would have bothered to animate your various opponents. All you see are a set of hands holding on to a pool queue. There is a great selection of freak shows to play against and watching them in all the weirdness would have made watching the CPU's shots a lot easier. Other then this issue the game looks great and seems to have no graphical problems what so ever. Also featured are a ton of un-lockables and mini games. These can provide extra hours of entertainment, with a long single player mode, and endless games for you and friends you can play this game for a long time.

Overall this is a great game of billiards and as Gamespot said a weird game too. If you want a game of billiards this is probably your best bet, it's very user friendly and for people like myself who aren't big Billiards fans you can grab it and get right into it without any trouble and just have fun. If you're in the market grab Pool Paradise it's a lot of fun for what it is.
