Just a glance at this game,and it may not appeal. Play it and you will be so in love with it, even if you dont like RPGs
I love this game! It is one of my PSP favorites and here is why...
Cute! Its so cute! The characters have this simple old school anime look to them and its just to die for!
The Story. This is one of the sweetest RPG stories ever! Its about this little 10 year old prince of PoPoLoCrois named Pietro and he on a quest to save his mother. Her soul was taken to the World of Darkness and this brave little boy is going to save it! Aww! The story fits the look of this game so well.
Characters. Darling. Just darling sweet lovable characters. And the way I think about it, an RPG isnt good if the characters are lame. In this case they most certainly are not.
Simplistic. Something I feel, even if you arent an RPG fan, you can rap your head around. The battle system it turn based. But with a grid so you can get a bit of a tactical advantage. But this game is not at all as complex as say, Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea in terms of strategy. I would say its as bare minimum as you can get for a stratigic battle system.
Just something else I liked was the map, it told you where to go next and it helps. Its nothing huge. Just something else I enjoyed.
So to sum up all I have said. If you like cute games with nice stories and wonderful heart felt characters, then PoPoLoCrois is a game you should get!
