Port Royale 3, what it does - it does well. Gets a bit boring after a while.

So I have been playing Port Royale 3 for 8 hours now and the quality of the game is just like I expected it to be.

I really enjoyed playing the game the first couple of hours, but after a while it becomes boring to do the same thing over and over again. It seems like the only goals are making money, fame and maybe find yourself a cute lassie to marry.

I wish Kalypso would have done more development in the area of upgrading your ships with armor, guns, sails etc. These could be earned via missions or via a xp system.

The good:
- Quality of the game
- Graphics
- Mature UI
- Tutorial videos

The bad:
- A bit boring after a while
- The in-game soundtrack could do with a larger playlist
- Lacking a physical map or even a interactive map

Conclusion:
Port Royale 3 is worth the money, and is fun to play from time to time.
